Bed Bug Control
We cover in and around: Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Manchester, Stoke, Liverpool, Sheffield and Birmingham.
Like any pest problem if you think you may have a bed bug problem it is important to get in touch with a professional. The sooner you are able to identify the problem the quicker and easier the treatment will be. As bed bugs stay close to food sources they are normally found in the bedroom or any other rest areas in the home. As well as causing irritation through their bites they can also cause emotional stress at the thought of having parasites in your bed. Thankfully the problem can be easily treated and Pestway will spray the affected area with an insecticide with a growth regulator as well as fumigate the affected area.
Common signs of bed bugs
You will probably first notice bed bugs in the bedroom or on a sofa because they need access to a sleeping person in order to build up in numbers. The first you know of them might be bites that appear on your body during the night. Some of the common things to look out for which may indicate bed bugs are:
- Dark stains on your mattress
- Sweet and sickly scent
- Live insects or shed skins
If you think you have a bed bug problem than it is worth checking your bed and mattress. Because they are so small they can hide in crevices, mattress seams, gaps in skirting boards, between timber floorboards and inside electrical sockets. Because bed bugs are attracted to body heat and carbon dioxide and their need for feeding they are normally found a short distance from beds.
How can you identify a bed bug?
Mature bed bugs are around 1/4 inch in length and are rusty red/brown to mahogany coloured, oval, wingless insects. Their bodies are flattened and ridged and after feeding, they become swollen, longer and dark red to dark brown in colour.
What can you do?
Effective treatment of bed bugs is possible by using pesticide sprays as well as fumigating the affected rooms in your house. Our experts are licensed for the safe use of pesticides and fumigation and will help treat your house quickly and efficiently. After treatment you may still see a few bed bugs but these will be killed off by the pesticide treatment.
After treatment you should avoid vacuuming floors for up to 14 days to allow the pesticide to work and kill any remaining bed bugs that may hatch since fumigation.
OUR TREATMENT IS 100% GUARANTEED AND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY AND THINK YOU STILL HAVE BED BUGS AFTER TREATMENT IS FINISHED PESTWAY WILL TREAT AGAIN FOR FREE.
